The college years are a critical time for students to explore and establish their belief systems. It is especially so for students at Cornell. Hailing from every state in the U.S. and over 120 countries, graduates go on to occupy leadership positions in various fields. Therefore, it is vital that students leave Cornell with a deeper understanding of Islam.
The Diwan Foundation is committed to establishing a welcoming and spiritually enriching Cornell Muslim experience for students, preparing them to serve the Muslim community and world with purpose and confidence. The Muslim Chaplain and campus programs also provide non-Muslim students with an informed view of Islam and Muslims.
This important work is dependent on the generosity of alumni, parents and friends. By investing in Muslim life at Cornell, you are also investing in a brighter future for these students and their communities. Thank you for being our partners in this essential work.
Diwan’s programs help Muslim students express themselves, develop in their faith and connect with other students and alumni. With the support of parents, alumni and friends, we are able to engage over 600 students each year to prepare them to serve the Muslim community and world with purpose and confidence. Thank you for advancing our impact!
