The college years are a critical time for students to explore and establish their belief systems. Hailing from every state in the U.S. and over 120 countries, Cornell graduates go on to occupy leadership positions in various fields. It is vital that students leave Cornell with a deeper understanding of Islam.
The Diwan Foundation is committed to establishing a welcoming and spiritually enriching Cornell Muslim experience for students, preparing them to serve the Muslim community and world with purpose and confidence. It also offers pastoral care and guidance rooted in sound Islamic knowledge.
The Muslim Chaplain and campus programs also provide non-Muslim students with an informed view of Islam and Muslims.

Introducing our Foundations Campaign – our three-year effort to set the Muslim Chaplaincy on a firm financial footing and establish it as an institution at Cornell University.
The Chaplaincy has addressed pressing student needs in the past five years. Its work will get more important as culture and identity issues become politicized on campuses, and Muslim students seek knowledge, guidance and community rooted in Islam.
Our goal is to rally 300 donors giving an average of $30 monthly over the next 3 years.
Even $5 a month helps build a wide base of support for Muslim life at Cornell. All gifts are tax deductible.
